MARYSE GASPARD
Often referred to as Pierre Cardin's muse, Maryse Gaspard has worked with the designer for more than 50 years, first meeting Cardin during the 1960s, becoming a supermodel in the 1970s and currently serving as the director of Haute Couture for Pierre Cardin. The 1980s were defined by Gaspard's total commitment to Pierre Cardin both in Haute Couture fashion shows around the world. In 2017, Gaspard explained to Women's Wear Daily magazine, “Cardin clothes give an attitude, a personality, an assurance. I wear Pierre Cardin every day of the year. I come from the school of Cardin."
JEAN-PASCAL HESSE
Jean-Pascal Hesse has served as director of communications for Pierre Cardin since 1995. He is also responsible for public relations of Maxim's restaurant, the Palais Bulles, the Festival of Lyrical Art and Theater of Lacoste (Luberon). He is the author of several books on Pierre Cardin, most recently a 2017 survey published by Assouline to mark the designer’s 70-year career. Additional publications include: "Espace Pierre Cardin," a book on the history of Espace Cardin (formerly Théâtre des Ambassadeurs); "Le Palais Bulles of Pierre Cardin"; "Maxim’s: A Mirror of the Parisian Life"; and "Pierre Cardin: 60 Years of Innovation."
