Celebrate with SCAD FASH at members-only holiday reception and exclusive viewing
Reception
Join SCAD FASH for a special holiday celebration where you can mingle and be merry with fellow museum members. Tour the exhibitions Fashioning Art from Paper, featuring breathtaking trompe l’oeil masterpieces by Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave, and Form & Function, featuring radically experimental footwear by Los Angeles-based shoe designer Chris Francis. Then go behind the scenes with Christina Frank, assistant director of fashion exhibitions, for an exclusive viewing of garments from the SCAD Permanent Collection, including an iconic Delphos dress by early 20th-century artist Mariano Fortuny, a major source of inspiration for de Borchgrave.
