Muse on the reality and fantasy of fashion at Robert Wun artist talk

Event

Fashion designer Robert Wun joins SCAD FASH curators from his London studio for an artist talk and first look at his new exhibition, Between Reality and Fantasy.

Energized by the potential of design to function as a universal language, Wun translates bold conceptual ideas into technically rigorous yet accessible garments that empower the wearer. Between Reality and Fantasy, the first museum exhibition for this rising star of the fashion world, features looks and accessories from his earliest to his latest collections, set in a contemporary installation that embodies the futurism inherent in his work. The exhibition spotlights looks worn by Billy Porter, Céline Dion, Lizzo, Ciara, and British singer-songwriter Celeste, among others.

Wun’s collections have been highlighted in the pages of Vogue, Paper, InStyle, and Wallpaper. He has also collaborated with film director Wong Kar-wai and designed costumes for the 2015 film Hunger Games: Mockingjay.

This event is free and open to the public.
