Talk: High-stakes fashion: Dressing the vampire
Talk
Sink your teeth into vampiric aesthetics at the second iteration of SCAD FASH’s Halloween-themed couture conversation. Fashion historian and SCAD FASH programs and education manager Stephanie Ray is joined by SCAD illustration professor Amy Lennertz (M.F.A., illustration, 2016) to discuss the visual impact of the most alluring mythological predator. Trace the sartorial history of the specters and their characteristic evolution, from bloodsucking fiends to glittering ghouls and everything in between.
Enjoy the splendidly macabre museum atmosphere with candy and thematic music before the talk starts at 6:30 p.m. Reserve your spot.
This event is complimentary to SCAD Card holders, students, and children under 14. Admission is $10 for the general public and $8 for military and seniors.
