Crafting workshop: Sip, snip, and serve for André
Workshop
Join SCAD FASH for Sip, Snip & Serve: Dressing André, a wine and craft night celebrating the style and spirit of André Leon Talley. In this hands-on workshop, guests will create custom caftans for miniature ALT figures, inspired by his iconic silhouettes, bold color choices, and unmistakable savoir faire. Guided by museum educators, you’ll work with a curated selection of fabrics, trims, and embellishments — no design experience required.
Sip wine (21+), craft, and socialize with fellow fashion enthusiasts while celebrating Talley’s legacy as a fashion editor, tastemaker, and style icon. All materials are included, and you’ll leave with your own one-of-a-kind miniature caftan as a fun take-home souvenir. A perfect night out for creativity, style, and celebration at SCAD FASH.
