This event takes place off-site at SCADshow, 1470 Spring St. NW, Atlanta, Ga.
Indulge in the sartorial splendor of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette (2006). In partnership with SCADshow, SCAD FASH welcomes students and members to revel in this fashion-forward film — a favorite of cultural icon André Leon Talley — featuring Coppola’s heightened and stylized reimagining of the fated French queen. “Marie Antoinette translated so well to film because it just said everything about her,” Talley reflected in 2019. “She was a teenager, and she was a queen. It said everything about that frivolity and the exquisite refinement of the world.”
Enjoy a film that captivated Talley as you prepare for the opening of SCAD FASH’s newest exhibition André Leon Talley: Style Is Forever.
