The artist creates conceptual images that offer expansive aesthetic possibilities for engaging with Blackness, identity, and representation. Emphasizing a narrative sensibility, Addy’s works have been published in British Vogue, i-D, and Dazed, among others, and have featured luminaries such as Tyler, The Creator, FKA twigs, Beyoncé, and Naomi Campbell. The Stillness of Elegance marks the artist’s first institutional solo exhibition in the U.S.
